Our promise on AI
Four rules we follow with AI, in our products and in our work.
- We use AI where it removes typing or checking, not to look modern.
- In our products, AI drafts and a person approves. Nothing it produces becomes an order, an invoice or a record without someone’s OK.
- AI features are labelled by what they do today: available, in beta, coming soon or planned.
- We publish no time-saved or accuracy figures we have not measured.
Questions we get
Do you use AI on our project?
Yes. AI writes and tests much of the code. A senior engineer reviews what it produces. It never touches your passwords or billing.
Who sees our data?
Your team, and the people on our team who support your account. Each company’s data is kept separate. AI features in our products stay off until you turn them on. When one is on, the email or document it reads is sent to an outside AI service for processing. Ask us which service and how it handles data, and we will answer plainly.
What happens when something breaks?
Call or write. We fix the bug, then find the check that should have caught it, and add it.
Can we leave?
Yes. There is no contract. In UTX Freight, you can export your customers, equipment, open orders, invoices and receivables to CSV or Excel at any time.
Why stay small?
On purpose. A small team means fewer hand-offs and faster decisions. AI lets us take on more work without adding layers between you and the code.
